大数据时代英语专业听力学习模式探讨——以TED演讲为例
Abstract    1
随着互联网和各种网络公开课以及大数据时代的发展,从大数据的概念、特征以及带来的思维变革入手,结合我国大学英语听力教学的现状,分析了大数据条件下给我国大学英语听力学习带来的诸多变化。
网络的资源越来越多的成为英语教学的资源,TED演讲以其丰富的内容、前沿的思想和标准的语言成为大学英语教师青睐的语言讲学素材。在大学英语听力课中,TED演讲可以成为课文话题的有益补充,也可以是相关话题语言素材的来源,所以,利用好TED演讲为大学英语教学服务也是大学英语教师值得探讨的问题。
本文通过大数据,本文首先阐述了英语专业学生思辨能力缺失的主要要素,分析了TED演讲导入在学生思辨能力培养中的可行性,并结合教学实例指出以 TED演讲作为教学导入有利于培养学生的分析、推理和评价等高层次思辨能力,以大学英语听力学习为研究对象,应用数据挖掘技术,从学习环境、师资力量、教学过程以及学生的学习方法、学习动机、学习时间等多方面因素进行分析,统计出大学英语听力学习效果的情况。

As English is becoming more and more widely used in the society, college English teaching quality is improved. InEnglishlearning, students should pay attention to the most important place in listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation, so English listening teaching effect has a significant impact on College Students' English level. Data for teaching and research provides a rich source of data, and data mining technology is also able to draw their rules and relevance in a number of factors and conditions of data, so  from a series of big data, we can learn English easier, and it can also improve our normal learning of listening, speaking, reading and writing ability.
In recent years, English Majors lack of critical thinking skills,the problems have drawn more and more in foreign language experts and peer’s attention. They have written to study and explore "the cause of the disease is not exist”,and tried their best to find a way to improve and cure. We believe that expect the education, the improvement of English major students’critical thinking skills and our life and activities and English listening is an important factor, the English listening is in the first place in exercising the language skills. If the curriculum plan of exercising the language skills is not reasonable and the listening contents and the method of listening is single,so it cannot develop the ability of thinking. According to the statistical data, foreign language experts point out that when in communication, “listening” is 45%of the total time,” speaking” is 30%,”writing” is 9%. So it is clear that “listening” is frequent and important in linguistic. But throughout the history, although the students in English major have got some improvement in listening, the general situation is not very well. The writer analyzed the present situation and some measures, made further efforts to discuss the inspiration to students and teachers.

Chapter 1  Analysis of the Present Situation of English Listening Comprehension

"Listening" is one of the languages communications of human beings, with the development of information technology, the international communication is more important and comment than past.For example, in TEM4 and TEM8,English listening examination is an indispensable part. But most of students  have a lot of problems on listening comprehension,listening skills and listening comprehension ability are limited, many universities is concerned about how to improve the listening comprehension. There are many subjective and objective factors that affect listening comprehension in practical teaching.
Many universities are accustomed to use a version of the learning material for a long time. Listening material is suitable for master grammar compilation and difficulty, but the content can also be outdated and not practical. Sometimes listening materials can also be regard as reading material read and listening is just a way to practice. Teachers compelled students that they should to regard listening as a kind of communication and practice.
